Discovery Space
Why the Maine Coast? This iconic magical space has welcomed guests from all over the world. Its spectacular and remarkable walking beaches and rocky coastlines create spaces for emotional and rewarding enlightenment and awakening.
The Maine coast is known for its ability to create memories that will last a lifetime. Generation after generation return to the beach and ocean to enjoy immersive experiences in every season. The healing ocean waters allow you spirit to soar.
Take time to slow down. Feel the sand in between your toes, catch a few rays of sun and watch the sunrise over the Atlantic. This space offers the opportunity for a remarkable transformation that comes only when you are at the ocean.
You will have the ability to step out onto the beach and feel the energizing breeze as it sweeps up from the surf. Notice the smile that spreads across your face as you immediately feel the peaceful and calming effects on your body, mind and soul.

Intuitive Eating
Dine on scrumptious locally sourced organic and fresh snacks and meals as you tune into your body’s own hunger and fullness cues. Your taste buds are sure to be awakened as you enjoy the healthy and supportive snacks and meals prepared by our Chef, with homegrown products – many from his own garden.
Imagine waking up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and tea while watching the sun rise, connecting with self and engaging in authentic conversations. Set your intention for the day or spend time in the quiet, peaceful natural surroundings… beach, pond, walking trails and ocean.
Learn a variety of ways to nourish your pallet and get in touch with your bodies internal physiological hunger needs. Experience creating your own delicious smoothies and create your own special oatmeal concoction. Mix and match tastes, textures and colors of foods that appeal to you in the morning, such as homemade quiches and muffins, grilled vegetables, turkey sausages, yogurts and fruits.
Can’t eat this or that? Vegan, Vegetarian, gluten or dairy free? No problem, we are happy to accommodate any of your food preferences.
Enjoy easy to make and find high-energy snacks to keep you mind and body (blood sugar levels) functioning optimally. Discover the value of food and its role in providing clarity, focus, energy and awareness while moving, learning and growing.
While in Maine, do as the Mainers! Eat a family style Maine themed meal including Maine Crab Cakes, Red Bliss Potato Salad and Fresh spinach and mushroom salad. End the meal by experiencing the sweet taste of an Apple or Blueberry Crisp with ice cream. The warm and friendly atmosphere, new connections and tasty dishes blend to end the day in pure perfection.

Our Journey
Day 1 Evening: Connecting and Letting Go
After settling in your comfortable, cozy room, join us and the “Diet Free Sisterhood” as we meet, and greet each other to “kickoff” our transformative weekend. Spend the evening sharing and getting acquainted with a lovely group of like-minded fun women.
We will look at how the mother daughter relationship has impacted the relationship you now have with food, eating and your body.
- Uncover and understand your present relationship with food
- Let go of past thoughts and beliefs about food, diets and body image
- Gain insight on your current non-supportive behaviors (mini-me)
- Leave baggage (worries or doubts) at the front door for the weekend, while we work in the present.
- Relax into the evening and reduce stress with a guided stress less meditation
Day 2: Transformation and Change
Over the course of the day you will gain a new perspective on how to change your relationship with food, mind, body and self as we introduce you to our 5 simple steps Action Blue Print.
Greet the morning with a hot or cold beverage and head out on a morning walk of mindfulness through nature. Explore the beautiful landscape, breathe in the fresh coastal air, stretch and move your body as you open your heart and mind. This is a great way to be grateful and to be present while grounding yourself for the day.
After enjoying a nourishing delicious morning meal, we will come together and learn five proven simple steps. This morning you will learn how to:
- Eat Intuitively and Supportively
- Empower your Maxi-Me with positive Self-Talk
- Practice “Body AA” Appreciate and Accept your body for what it can do today
As a result, you will be free of the diet mentality and thin ideal. Get your self-talk to work for you rather than against you. You will learn to look at your today’s body with new, appreciative and fresh eyes and perspective.
After a locally sourced, supportive and intuitive meal, head to the ocean and beach to reconnect and reflect in nature with the soothing sounds, salty smells and winter calmness of the seacoast. Feel the sand and even the water on your feet as we explore all our senses and make time to pause, stop, breathe and reflect on the mornings discoveries… Letting the world pass by!
Head back to your room for some quiet time and rejuvenation for TIME TO NURTURE YOU before we gather for a delicious and tasty Maine themed Meal. This evening we will learn the importance of implementing and engaging in Daily Self-Care and Self-Compassion by:
- Sharing strategies on how to best take care of you and find daily joy.
- Learning Methods to decrease your stress load
- Creating a personalized Self Care Tool Box
- Relaxing and enjoying a guided self-compassionate meditation
Day 3: Transformation (cont.), Supporting and Celebrating You!
Wake up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and tea, while enjoying the quiet of the morning or engaging in meaningful, supportive conversations.
A Drumming and Play-fit class sets this day in motion. Awaken and reconnect to your inner playful child with laughter, smiles and joy. Imagine playing and drumming as we introduce you to several new and different ways to move your body, exercise and play. You will also learn our innovative 2x2x2 movement formula that reduces aches and pains, increases body acceptance and encourages movement and exercise as a way of life.
Spend some time opening your heart and mind to the experiences of the weekend as you decide what you want to take home and what you want to leave behind. Experience a life-changing exhilarating letting go activity with the support of your new found friends.
We wrap up the weekend in a Celebration of You. In this heart centered ceremony, feel nurtured, supported, cared for and valued. You will know that you are not alone and that you GOT THIS… and your sisters (and I) have your back
