Igniting Gratitude
In today’s blog, I am going to share with you a series of “gratitude prompts” that can help ignite some things to be thankful for. I know for me, I have days where worry, shame, disappointment, frustration, or fear seem to take over my psyche. Whenever I find myself in this type of state, I make a conscious decision to shift the way I am thinking.
What I have come to realize is that shifting my self- talk and thoughts towards something I am thankful for, changes my emotional state completely. The worry, frustration or fear seems to diminish and a more positive outlook washes over me, much like a wave. Try out some of these thoughts:

The Sticky Note Wall…
I have a sticky note gratitude wall in my office. Most days I write something that I am grateful for on a sticky note and place it on the wall. Whenever I look at it, I smile. Why not create yourself a gratitude sticky note wall? Every night when you go to bed, write 3 gratitude sticky notes and put them on the wall. When you wake up in the morning, read them as a way to start your day.
